As a young flyer, my parents, friends and grandparents like to know when I've arrived somewhere safely. I send a text when I'm departing to a couple of people, and do the same when arriving - however sometimes I forget and people start to panic. Find My Friends on iPhone is somewhat useful, however if I go abroad I'm not keen on using my data roaming, and of course not everyone has an iPhone or iPad or uses Find My Friends.
My suggestion is simply this; is it possible to add automatic text alerts to SkyDemon when I depart somewhere and when I arrive somewhere? So when I depart (i.e. when flight logging starts), send a text message to someone with a destination, ETE and ETA (all accessible from the Pilot Log). And when I arrive (i.e. when flight logging stops), send a text message to say I have arrived at the destination. This is of course assuming SkyDemon is being used on the mobile phone, as it probably wouldn't be possible on a tablet. Anyone think this would be a good idea and whether it would be possible and easy to implement?

In the next version, there is a "Share on Social Media" in the track menu. It's way better than sending a text message See https://www.facebook.com/SkyDemonVFR/posts/1100746629991724:0
